Welcome to the homepage for the Southampton Aikikai, which is made up of the Southampton Shiseikan Aikido Club and the University of Southampton Aikido Club. We are a member of the British Aikido Federation, which is one of the organizations comprising the Joint Aikikai Council.

CLASS TIMES through December 2026: Our usual class times are Tuesday evenings 18.30 – 20.00 and Friday evenings 17.00 – 18.00. If you are interested in attending a Friday class, please email us, as the Friday class may be cancelled on rare occasion.

All classes takes place in the Martial Arts Studio, Studio 3, in the Jubilee Sport and Recreation Centre (which is Building 18 on the University of Southampton Highfield Campus (click for a map)).

If you’re interested, please come along and give it a whirl. Beginners are always welcome, and all classes are appropriate for beginners.
